Project Teyaqi
Project Teyaqi addresses a deeply human challenge within the hospital environment: the emotional and financial burdens patients and their attendants face during their stay. While we may not be able to solve every problem they encounter, we believe in the power of presence; in sitting with them, listening to their stories, and offering simple acts of kindness that can ease even a heavy moment. At the same time, Teyaki offers premedical and preclinical students the opportunity to engage with the hospital setting early on, helping them gain experience and confidence ahead of their clinical years....

Project Tequami
Project Tequami was created in response to the navigational challenges many patients and their attendants face within the vast compound of SPHMMC. Getting to the right office or department can be confusing and time-consuming, often delaying care especially for outpatients, and lowering overall patient satisfaction. To address this, the project organizes guided navigation efforts that help visitors move through the hospital with ease....

Project Medhanit
Project Medhanit was launched to address one of the most pressing challenges patients face: the inability to afford prescribed medications and essential medical interventions. Through close collaboration with the social work team at St. Paul’s Hospital, the project identifies patients in financial distress and steps in by raising donations to ensure they receive the treatment they need. The project also helps ease pressure on hospital resources by improving patient adherence and continuity of care....
